The Soulfire Heart Centre
The Soulfire Heart Centre is a magical gateway to a sacred realm. Women who enter here remember the gifts they were blessed with before birth: their talents, their mission in life. When they leave here, they go out empowered and inspired to share these with the world.
The Soulfire Heart Centre provides a retreat and healing centre, a home and a sanctuary for women to grow together in truth and love and transformation. Dedicated to the Divine Feminine, it provides a magical opportunity for women to reconnect with their deep intuition and soul’s purpose. It is a place to rediscover the beauty, radiance and love that every woman carries in her heart and soul, reclaiming her birthright.
The Centre is situated directly on the side of the mystical Glastonbury Tor, in Avalon which is recognised as the heart chakra of the Planet. The property consists of a four bedroom house and a temple room, used daily for spiritual practices. It sits on an acre of land which holds the outdoor temple, which is a hundred year old yurt from Afghanistan, an earth altar created on a crossover of ley-line and an underground river. There is also a divine masculine altar celebrating the male energy, a blood garden honouring women’s moon cycle, an eternity garden honouring departed beloveds, a stone circle with a central fire pit, also on a ley-line, where we hold regular fire ceremonies and other areas for meditation and devotion.
What we are.
We are a community of spiritual women, dedicating our lives to growth and transformation and connection with divinity within and without.
We are a nurturing retreat centre, open for small numbers of women and men to stay for short periods and receive the healing from this sacred land our daily practices. We also hold regular events for the wider community and internationally.
We endeavour to support women to access their deep integral qualities and reconnect with the gifts they have to share with the world, encouraging them to find their divine purpose in life.
We are a meat and intoxicant free community and grow as many vegetable as many as we are able, the vision being to eventually become more self sufficient.
We embrace all spiritual paths and regularly bring local people together at ceremonies and sacred events to honour these, which creates a feeling of immense positivity in the wider community. Therefore it is essential that this sacred gateway continues to be held and that the Centre remains available for all and doesn’t revert to being a normal, private residence.
What we do.
We hold a daily puja (prayers to celebrate and honour the divine and personal prayers), at 8am that anyone can come and join, also shared yoga practice.
We hold regular sacred circles, sharing groups, weekly art and craft groups, devotional singing gatherings as well as meditation, yoga and healing sessions. In the warmer month we also hold longer retreats and workshops. We welcome guest teachers to hold retreats and classes, all of which are open to the public.
We create a warm, loving and nurturing environment where women can journey deeply into self discovery.
The ceremonies we hold on the land are also a beautiful way of bringing the community together for prayer and celebration, and remembrance of our joyful connection with the land and each other.
What makes us different from other healing centres.
- Our position on the Tor holding the energy of the mystical gateway of Avalon.
- The fact that it is uniquely for women’s growth and development, held by women.
- Most of our workshops and ceremonies are by donation and therefore affordable for everybody.
- I believe it is where the priestess schools were in the ancient times of Arthur and long before.
- This project has already gained attention internationally and we hope to move, touch and inspire many more local and international visitors.
- This is not a money making business. It is a privilege to live so close to the Tor and to be working to create and generate positivity with prayer and ceremony that radiates throughout the planet through the ley-lines that run through the land.
- To date, everyone who has been blessed to stay and visit here has received tangible shifts towards their growth.
- We feel that is crucial for this centre to remain healing sanctuary so that many more can come to benefit from the blessings of Avalon. It would be a great loss to the community if it was sold to a private owner and therefore no longer available to the wider community.
Future plans.
Once the house and land has been secured, the plan would be to:
- Invest a percentage of our monthly income into supporting womens projects around the world.
- Refurbish the garage and create a craft centre where women can come and learn old crafts like wool dying from vegetables, arts and crafts of all sorts.
- Convert the attic to create a clear space for meditation and yoga.
- Erect a couple of eco cabins so that we have space for more women to come and stay, as we only have limited space at the moment.
- Create a well. We have a cross over of two underground springs and can in time have our own water supply.
- Solar and Wind power. We would eventually be aiming to have solar panels fitted and a wind turbine to assist our desire for self sufficiency.
What we need.
We need to raise £450,000 to secure the property, either with one investor who would become our new landlord, who is in line with this vision and supporting it long term or multiple donations so we can raise the amount needed. The investors would in return be able to come and spend time here and take part in whatever activities were being held at the time. Resting in the knowledge that they had assisted in the support of women’s growth and transformation and taken part in securing the heritage of Avalon for the future and our children’s children.
In this ever changing world of uncertainty, the deep wounding of humanity needs to be transformed into love, therefore assisting global changes. This project is a light ship that radiates a strong and pure message of inspiration for all to benefit.
